About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Lead to join our Oracle Software Assurance team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing large-scale global programs and projects end-to-end in a highly matrixed environment.

Our ideal candidate has a strong technical background and experience leading complex technical/engineering programs in cloud or mobile applications or security research. They should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings, capture minutes, and drive to-dos to completion.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment and will have the ability to scale themselves to meet the demands of the role. They will also have a strong drive, sense of ownership, and ability to work autonomously.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in program and project management.
  • 5+ years leading complex technical/engineering programs in the areas of cloud or mobile applications or security research.
  • Ability to manage all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Experience in managing cloud-based projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, capture minutes and action items, and drive to-dos to completion.
  • Schedule awareness – ability to communicate priorities and sequence project work.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in various time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with different levels in the org.
  • Expertise with tools Jira, Confluence.
  • PMP or other Project/Program Management industry certification(s).
  • Cloud Certification(s) (OCI).
  • Eligibility to work in Australia without sponsorship.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
