About the Role
The Workforce Planning and Strategy Development Manager plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex strategies and projects to achieve specific outcomes. The successful candidate will support the achievement of organisational objectives by developing effective processes, systems, and tools that facilitate prioritisation and implementation of strategic work across the business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive workforce strategies that drive organisational success
- Manage and coordinate project delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address key challenges and opportunities
- Maintain and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's policies and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (e.g., human resources, education, or business)
- Proven experience in workforce planning and strategy development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary Range
$116,211 - $128,061 per annum, plus superannuation and leave loading
