About the Role

The Workforce Strategy & Planning Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex strategies and projects to achieve specific outcomes. This role supports the achievement of organisational objectives by developing effective processes, systems, and tools that support prioritisation and implementation of strategic work across the business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement complex workforce strategies and projects to achieve specific outcomes.
  • Manage and coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of these strategies and projects.
  • Support the achievement of organisational objectives by developing effective processes, systems, and tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address workforce planning needs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
  • Collaborative, agile, and disciplined approach to delivering outcomes for all students of NSW.
  • Seasoned project management strategist with previous experience managing projects, conducting research, analysing and reviewing complex workforce strategies and policy issues.
  • Natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.

About You

You will be a collaborative, agile, and disciplined individual with a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education. You will have a natural ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders both internal and external. You will be a seasoned project management strategist with previous experience managing projects, conducting research, analysing and reviewing complex workforce strategies and policy issues.
