Culinary Operations Manager

Located in the heart of Melbourne, our hotel offers a unique blend of modern style and comfort. We're part of Accor, Australia's largest hotel network, with over 50 brands and 5,100 hotels operating in 110 countries.
As an Executive Sous Chef, you'll be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, overseeing food preparations, and developing new recipes and menus that showcase your creativity and attention to detail.
We're looking for someone who can inspire and lead a team of culinary professionals, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure exceptional food quality and hygiene standards. You'll have previous experience working in à la carte and banqueting operations, a strong understanding of seasonal menu creation, and excellent communication skills.

About You:
- You'll have a background in both à la carte and banqueting operations
- You'll be able to inspire, nurture, and lead a creative diverse culinary workforce
- You'll have previous experience working with a large fast-paced culinary operation
- You'll have a strong understanding of seasonal menu creation and design
- You'll have a strong knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP)
- You'll be able to effectively interact and communicate with staff, management, and vendors
Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per year
