We are a leading provider of early learning services in Australia, operating 100 places in our centre. Our location is surrounded by shady gum trees and gardens, making it an ideal environment for young minds to grow.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Culinary Specialist to join our team at Goodstart Aberfoyle Park. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious and healthy meals that fuel the growth and development of our children. If you have a passion for food and a commitment to quality, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals that cater to special dietary requirements and allergies.
  • Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $45 per hour, at least 5% above the national award rates. You will also receive 50% discount off your childcare gap fees and up to 6 weeks paid parental leave. Additionally, you will have access to paid professional development opportunities and two wellbeing days included in your personal leave per year.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience cooking within a childcare setting.
  • Current SA Working with Children Check.
