Job Overview

Our team of senior consultants or managers works closely with major groups within the strategy and transactions department to deliver valuations for various purposes. These professionals advise clients on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital.

Key Responsibilities
  • They undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets for management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting, and disputes.
  • Project managers lead and prepare valuation reports that may include assessments of strategic options for transformation initiatives and detailed financial modelling and analysis.
  • Critical thinking, issue identification and proposal of strategies related to the advice being provided are essential skills for this role.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with client personnel, other project teams, and colleagues is crucial.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree and 3-7 years of relevant work experience are typically required.
  • Finance, economics, accounting, or business degrees with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis are preferred.
  • Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies for different purposes is desired.
  • Financial modelling proficiency in MS Excel and related software is advantageous.
  • Experience conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes is highly valued.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills are essential for success in this field.
