About the Role

The Service Deployment Officer will play a vital role in the success of VAE Group by providing administrative support to the technical staff, management team, and external customers. This position is based in Townsville and reports to the Customer Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the business as required, ensuring the smooth delivery of works.
  • Liaise with the Service Manager to undertake specific administrative tasks, managing technician schedules, site access bookings, and coordinating Pronto timesheets.
  • Generate Service Jobs, Purchase Orders, and assist with Deployment functions and overflow calls when required.
  • Develop strong relationships with all levels of stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and good negotiation and influencing skills.

Requirements

  • Similar administration experience, with a strong understanding of challenges in a dynamic and fast-growing business.
  • Ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, demonstrating good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent project management skills, with financial competency and exceptional time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a strong focus on delivering results and living the VAE Group values of Energy, Synergy, and Success.
