The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance land use outcomes for the city and deliver an outcomes-focused and value-adding culture. You will be required to interpret and apply relevant legislation, council policies, and procedures in assessing low-risk development applications and Concurrence Agency Referral Responses.

Key responsibilities will include providing planning and development advice, responding to planning enquiries, and leading and role modelling customer-focused behaviour. You will also be required to follow reasonable directions to maintain business continuity of critical business activities in the event of an unplanned disruption.
