About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EU Works Manager to join our team at Downer. As a key member of our Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services business unit, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Deliver Work: Develop and implement plans for both planned and responsive maintenance, including predictive and preventative maintenance, and minor workplace adjustments.
  • Facilities Management: Regularly supervise site facilities and assess maintenance requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Reporting and Coordination: Attend property inspections, identify defects and non-compliances, and report maintenance requirements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain effective customer relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with WHS and Industrial Relations law and regulations, as well as statutory obligations and codes of practice.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Possess technical expertise and trade or tertiary training in building maintenance, mechanical, or electrical services.
  • Facilities Management: Have sound knowledge of facilities management contract principles and experience in managing facilities operations.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
  • Security Clearance: Be suitable for Defence security clearance and hold Australian citizenship.
