About the Role

You will be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As our Demi Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to consistently produce high-quality dishes that meet our standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent service to guests, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and hygiene requirements.
  • Liaise with the kitchen team to manage special requests and delayed meals efficiently.

Requirements:
  • A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen or banqueting environment is essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge of various cooking techniques and styles.
  • Familiarity with workplace health and safety principles and food safety certification.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
