Child Welfare and Support Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Welfare and Support Specialist to join our team at BaptistCare.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality support and clinical case work to clients within a trauma-informed care framework.
- Work collaboratively with the Women's Services team to create trusted places where people gather and community is strong.
- Empower clients to live well through practical and reliable support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, services, agencies, departments, and government and non-government organisations.
- Actively engage in clinical supervision and line management.
**Essential Qualifications and Experience:**
- Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Counselling, or other relevant fields (Diploma minimum).
- Experience working in case work or counselling roles with women, children and young people who have experienced Domestic and Family Violence.
- Experience in social or community work, counselling, and group facilitation.
- Extensive experience working in a trauma-informed, client-centred way.
- Holds a current and valid Working with Children Check.
- Current drivers licence required.

- Advanced skills in risk assessment and case work relating to Domestic and Family Violence.
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated but also work collaboratively as part of a wider team.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders, services, agencies, departments, and government and non-government organisations.
- Actively engages in clinical supervision and line management.
