Technical Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our Commercial Sales team in Melbourne, Australia.
About the RoleThis is a high-impact opportunity to drive growth in the Commercial market for Rinnai Australia, a market leader in hot water, heating, cooling, and renewable energy appliances. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will play a key role in increasing sales and market share of our Commercial business through operationalising business development initiatives.
Responsibilities- Increase sales and market share of the Commercial business through operationalising business development initiatives.
- Assist in the implementation of sales strategy for highly technical products.
- Build and maintain strong customer-focused relationships within the industry.
- Develop and maintain the sales of Commercial Hot Water systems by managing existing trade accounts and building new account opportunities through plumbers, builders, developers, and hydraulic designers.
- Provide technical support to external trade customers and internal account managers.
- Play a key role in increasing awareness of the Rinnai Commercial brand within the market.
- A successful background developing business, preferably with products of a technical nature.
- Qualifications and/or experience in hydraulics or mechanical fields.
- Experience within the construction, plumbing, or HVAC industries.
- Highly developed negotiation skills.
- The ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent customer care.
- Technically minded with strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
