About the Role

Oceania Ground Force is seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Check-In Crew as a Check-In Crew Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences to airline travellers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly at check-in and ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Process and verify travel documents, ensuring compliance with all procedures.
  • Assign seats and issue boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers, providing accurate and timely information to customers.
  • Assist with gate boarding procedures, ensuring a seamless transition for passengers.
  • Marshal passengers and manage disruptions as needed, demonstrating a proactive approach to safety and customer satisfaction.

  • Competitive pay rates above the Award, with an hourly base rate of $26.10 exclusive of shift penalties and superannuation.

Essentials

  • Professional appearance and demeanour, reflecting the company's values and standards.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English, ensuring effective communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficient computer skills, utilizing technology to enhance your work and customer experience.
  • Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Capability of obtaining an ASIC card, facilitating your role and responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays, demonstrating your adaptability and commitment to the company.
  • Capacity to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day, accommodating your needs and preferences.
  • Ability to work any shift from 05:00 to 23:00, recognizing the importance of flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Capacity to be able to work between 20 - 25 hours per week, ensuring a sustainable and manageable workload.
  • Availability for 2 weeks of full-time paid training, supporting your professional growth and development.
