About the Role

Oceania Ground Force is seeking a skilled and safety-focused individual to join our airside ground crew team. As a key member of our frontline team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform bagroom functions, including scanning and manual handling of luggage.
  • Load and unload baggage and freight efficiently.
  • Manage aircraft receipt and dispatch procedures.
  • Execute aircraft pushback operations safely.
  • Provide essential water and waste services.
  • Operate ground service equipment on the ramp.

Essentials

  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • A valid Driver's License (including Provisional License).
  • Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
  • Capability of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays (e.g., Christmas).
  • Capacity to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day.
  • Ability to work shifts spanning 05:00 - 23:00.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight.
  • Available for a 1-week full-time paid training.
