Senior Solution Architect Position

The goal is to align customer business needs with OpenShift platform capabilities through both on-site and remote engagement.

  • Proactively drive technical outcomes to meet customer objectives in collaboration with the entire Red Hat Sales team.
  • Deliver live demonstrations that address a customer's business challenges, facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Set mid-term objectives to guide strategic customer engagements.
  • Lead major proofs of concept, workshops, and customer demonstrations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the region, advising on Red Hat solutions.
  • Mentor colleagues within the discipline to enhance technical and strategic capabilities.
  • Drive collaboration across business units, engineering, and professional services.

A key aspect of this role is bringing insightful perspectives to customer conversations. This role requires a growth mindset and commitment to professional development, certifications, and learning new technologies and skills.

Requirements

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a track record and experience in technical sales is a strong preference.

Knowledge of cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) technologies like Red Hat OpenShift or related experience with Kubernetes deployments.

Knowledge of Linux or UNIX operating systems, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Knowledge of virtualization technologies for application deployment and operations like VMware vSphere, KVM, etc.

Familiarity with the design and operation of medium to large-scale enterprise and cloud infrastructures.

Experience with DevOps tools, methodologies, and best practices.

Familiarity with information technology security technologies and cloud-native application security.
