About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Health Administration Officer to provide high-quality, confidential administrative support to the Manager and clinical staff employed in the Remote Area Clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing administrative support with the coordination of the Remote Area Clinics.
  • Completing business support activities such as maintaining calendars, managing meeting and room bookings, taking minutes, organizing catering, and preparing correspondence.
  • Providing efficient and accurate word processing outputs utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of applications.
  • Supporting clinical staff within the Remote Area Clinic with inputting, navigating, and reporting from databases and systems.
About You

You are a highly skilled and experienced administrative professional seeking a role where you can utilize your exceptional verbal and written communication skills, manage competing demands, and maintain quality.

Requirements:
  • Exceptional administrative experience within a health setting.
  • Proven ability to set your own workload priorities and work both autonomously and as part of a team in a constantly changing work environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with professional and non-professional staff, clients, and members of the wider community.
  • The ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality.
  • A strong sense of initiative and a bright and positive attitude.
  • Advanced knowledge and competence in Windows-based computer systems (including networked systems) and in using the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs (including Word, Excel, and Outlook).
