Key Role

The Trade Retail Assistant is a key position in delivering exceptional customer service. As the primary point of contact, you will develop meaningful relationships with clients and gain broad knowledge of materials and hardware used in building industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Interact with customers face-to-face and via communication channels.
  • Manage order entry, stock checks, and replenishment effectively.
  • Deliver orders to local customers efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records through strong computer skills.
Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to lift heavy items safely.
  • Understanding of good customer service principles.
Preferred Qualities:
  • Experience in cabinetry or architectural hardware would be advantageous.
  • A current forklift license is desirable.
  • An Australian driver's license is also preferred.
