About the Role

We are seeking a Support Service Specialist to join our team in the Southern Fleurieu region. As a key member of our community care team, you will provide personal care and household support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services including showering, bathing, toileting/continence management, and grooming
  • Undertake household tasks such as vacuuming, washing floors, and cleaning bathrooms/toilet areas
  • Prepare and cook basic meals for clients
  • Assist with day centre activities, including transport, shopping assistance, and therapy services
Requirements
  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Aged Care or related field
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated experience working in aged care or related field
