Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and energetic Health & Safety Business Partner to join our national Health and Safety team at Boral North America. As a key member of our team, you will support our operational teams to be more effective in their roles, creating a safer workplace for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support operational teams to build their health and safety capacity by providing specialist advice, support, and coaching.
  • Focusing on understanding and managing risk profiles, verifying critical control implementation, and identifying and coordinating risk reduction, improvement, and assurance activities.
  • Supporting the roll out and implementation of the Boral Health & Safety Strategy, including delivery of various projects.
  • Facilitating and managing incident response and subsequent analysis and learnings.
  • Supporting operations in preparing for, managing, and responding to HSE Regulatory Compliance inspections, audits, statutory reports, and prescribed incident notifications.

Requirements

  • A positive and proactive approach with a willingness and commitment to partnering with and supporting operational teams.
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally with strong skills in incident investigations.
  • Proven experience with implementing successful organizational change within complex environments.
  • Knowledge of WHS regulations, systems, processes, and Information Systems.
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety.
