Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Business Partner to oversee works being undertaken by the appointed Joint Venture Contractors across all major projects. The role reports to the H&S Manager and collaborates closely with H&S team members across delivery of major projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee works being undertaken by Joint Venture Contractors across major projects.
- Collaborate closely with H&S team members across delivery of major projects.
- Manage contracted specialist services.
- Implement and audit H&S management systems.
- Ensure compliance with H&S legislative agencies, relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and Guidelines.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Provide high-level written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Self-manage, work under pressure and work in a team environment.
- Hold a SafeWork, NSW White Card and a current driver's licence.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification at degree level in Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in transmission industry / large construction / infrastructure project.
- Experience in the management of contracted specialist services.
- Understanding of H&S auditing and the implementation of AS 4801 and ISO45001.
- Understanding of H&S legislative agencies, relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and Guidelines.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to self-manage, work under pressure and work in a team environment.
- SafeWork, NSW White Card.
- A current driver's licence.
