Senior Health and Safety Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in managing and supporting all aspects of health and safety for the Victoria-NSW Interconnector West (VNI West) project.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure full compliance with Transgrid policies and procedures and relevant safety legislation.
- Provide specialist advice and coordination services on all project lifecycle matters relating to health and safety.
- Support site delivery with interactions with delivery partners and Transgrid personnel to achieve the highest level of safety outcomes for the project.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management or equivalent relevant experience.
- SafeWork NSW 'White Card'.
- Extensive, relevant Transmission industry and/or large construction/infrastructure project experience in H&S roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of H&S legislative agencies, relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and Guidelines.
- Comprehensive understanding of H&S systems and programs as well as Risk Management principles.
- Understanding of H&S auditing and demonstrated experience in the implementation of AS 4801 and ISO45001.
- High level of conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- High level of oral and written communication skills.
- Well-developed and demonstrable presentation and report writing skills.
- Competent in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office applications.
- Current driver's licence.
- All tools of the trade including laptop, phone, corporate credit card, PPE, and work vehicle.
