About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Business Development Strategist to join our team at LNRS Data Services (Australia) Pty Ltd Company. In this role, you will focus on building strong relationships with our aviation clients and delivering tailored solutions that drive value through Cirium's aviation analytics.

Your mission will be to help our customers harness our tools and insights to optimize operations, improve decision-making, and achieve business growth. While you will bring a strategic approach to sales and be committed to meeting or exceeding revenue targets, you will always prioritize the best interests of your clients.

As an Aviation Business Development Strategist, you will engage with prospects and customers to gain a thorough understanding of their business goals, challenges, and opportunities. You will provide consultative sales support by offering tailored solutions that align with customer needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Activity:
    • Identify new business opportunities to expand market share and increase the penetration of Cirium's aviation analytics solutions.
    • Achieve both new business acquisition and renewal targets for assigned accounts within designated markets, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve objectives, maximize revenue growth, and build strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Maintain regular communication with both prospects and existing customers to understand their business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Use a consultative sales approach to offer tailored solutions that align with customer needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Market Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on industry trends and developments within the aviation and travel industries to identify emerging opportunities and challenges.
    • Track competitor activities and analyze how they impact Cirium's solutions and positioning in the market.
Requirements
  • Direct B2B sales experience in data and/or software, preferably in the aviation or travel industry.
  • Over five years of consultative sales experience, demonstrating success in value-based selling.
  • Expertise in SaaS opportunities and proficiency with the Salesforce.com platform.
  • Strong knowledge of software contract terms and conditions, ensuring fair and mutually beneficial transactions.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets through the development of effective sales strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and forecasting abilities.
