Customer Support Engineer - Mid North Coast NSW

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer-focused professional to join our team in NSW, working on multiple modalities such as DXR, CT, and MRI. As a critical customer-facing role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and developing robust customer relationships and providing expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of our medical equipment (software & hardware) in line with our regulations and policies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing best-in-class service, including technical support, corrective & preventative maintenance, repairs, commissioning & installation of equipment, and software & hardware upgrades.
  • Actively participating in the sales process and providing expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle of our customer relationships (from pre-sales through to implementation and post-sales support).
  • Leading the management and support of technical escalations through to resolution, ensuring all stakeholders are continually updated on progress according to the company process.
  • Determining the most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.
  • Working reasonable additional hours outside business hours as necessary to efficiently and effectively carry out the job role as defined by Philips.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing service engineering background within the medical equipment or Biomedical industry and experience with DXR, CT, and MRI would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree-level education or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • A full AU driver's license and a Police Check will form part of the recruitment process.
