We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team. As a Support Worker Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting participants to achieve their goals and improve their daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capacity building and support to improve independence and daily living skills
  • Assistance with daily living activities, including food preparation and personal care
  • Support participants to set and achieve goals, and develop strategies to improve daily living
  • Assistance with accessing community resources and services

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Comprehensive car insurance
  • First Aid certificate and CPR certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check and police check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Modules
  • A smartphone with access to the internet and a rostering app

About You

We are looking for a candidate who is fun and outgoing, with a sense of humor and a willingness to learn. You should have compassion and empathy, as well as an understanding of mental health and capacity building.

Working Conditions

  • Casual position with variable hours
  • Pay rate: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
  • Shift work, including morning, afternoon, evening, and night shifts
  • Public holidays and weekend availability

In-person work at our organization's location
