As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence in Melbourne's vibrant food scene while ensuring our high-quality Japanese food products reach the right customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in Victoria, understanding their needs and helping them find the right products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and proactively target restaurants, grocery stores, and other businesses that could benefit from our premium Japanese food products.
  • Drive sales by implementing effective strategies and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Educate clients about Japanese culinary traditions and showcase how our ingredients can be integrated into modern dishes.
  • Stay informed on food trends and competitor activities, adjusting your sales tactics as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product development teams to communicate customer feedback and ensure continued product excellence.
Requirements
  • Fluency in Japanese (essential) and strong communication skills in English.
  • Sales experience, ideally within the food and beverage industry, will be an advantage, especially in B2B sales.
  • Strong interest or experience in Japanese cuisine and culture.
  • Valid driver's license, as regular client visits are expected. A company car will be provided.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule to meet sales targets.
  • Full work rights in Australia.
