Job Description

A dynamic and experienced professional is required to lead our front office team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at all times.

  • Under the direction of the Assistant Front Office Manager and Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for duties that include:
  • Leading a shift of front office professionals, with a focus on maintaining high standards of service.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining procedures for the Front Office department, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Managing the team, including training and development, to ensure their success.
  • Providing exceptional leadership, taking initiative and responsibility for the team.
  • Ensuring the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Personable, proactive and driven by a desire to take initiative and responsibility.
  • Previous experience in a similar fast-paced role, with a strong track record of achievement.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • A desire to grow skills and progress managerial experience, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • The ability to work autonomously, leading the overnight team with confidence and expertise.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve challenges swiftly without sacrificing quality.
  • Previous experience with a Property Management System (PMS), with knowledge of Opera Cloud highly regarded.
  • A strong desire to achieve high results, driven by a passion for success.
  • Current certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and First Aid, or a willingness to obtain.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work a rotating roster, including overnight, weekends and public holidays.
