About the Job


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deal Desk Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, deal structuring, and contract management.


About You


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Deal Desk or Sales Support role within a SaaS company, preferably with direct, channel, government, services, and international sales exposure.
  • A good understanding of sales processes, billing, revenue recognition, including structuring of deals and contract management.
  • Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to analyze complex deal patterns and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Legal, and other departments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
  • Self-motivated and able to affect change within the organization, with a passion for process improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems, such as Salesforce, CPQ, Netsuite, or similar systems.

What We Offer


As a Senior Deal Desk Specialist at Smartsheet, you can expect a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive:
