The role of Channel Account Manager entails selling innovative software and hardware solutions to address complex enterprise and public sector challenges. This position is ideal for an accomplished sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas by promoting software and hardware solutions to enterprise and public sector customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for owning allocated territories and developing their own territory strategies in conjunction with local, regional, and national partners. Key responsibilities include recruiting and developing local and regional IT partners to help design, configure, sell, install, and support Avigilon Alta security solutions.
Additional duties involve managing and growing the Avigilon Alta Security pipeline and revenue through existing IT Partners, engaging in end-user prospecting activity for new business in collaboration with IT Partners, driving demand for Avigilon's Alta Security portfolio within assigned territory, and presenting and demonstrating Avigilon Alta Security portfolio and Avigilon Alta Aware platform to relevant stakeholders.
Team members will work closely with engineering resources to ensure technical excellence in positioning, competitive analysis, proposals, RFP responses, and POCs, as well as providing customers and partners with pricing and configurations to meet their needs as required.
Forecasting and reporting activities will be performed accurately and in line with expectations. Successful candidates will also forge high-level relationships within accounts to win incremental product and service business.
Required skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in selling enterprise SaaS solutions, preferably within the IT security industry.
- A proven and quantifiable track record of over-achievement.
- Experience selling to mid-market, large enterprise, and public sector end-user accounts.
- A hunter background with a proven history of success.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and C-level audiences.
- Good knowledge of the security market.
- Self-starter with strong goal-oriented approach and ownership mindset.
- Good business acumen, experience with contracts and pricing.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and CRM tools.
Other requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
