Account Development Professional

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Development Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to continue their sales career in a dynamic SaaS environment by developing the sales process within existing customer accounts.

This is a great opportunity to further your sales career working closely with senior sales leaders and executive leadership, contributing to revenue growth, and deepening your knowledge of the enterprise software sales process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy within existing accounts to drive upsell and cross-sell revenue.
  • Conduct thorough account research to uncover new business opportunities and identify potential challenges.
  • Craft compelling sales presentations and value-driven messaging that aligns with customer needs.
  • Initiate outbound communication with existing customers to re-engage them and explore new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with C-level executives within assigned accounts.
  • Track activity in CRM systems for accuracy and visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales Engineering, New Business) as needed to support deal execution.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales or sales support role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS or enterprise software sales.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Experience working in a CRM (preferably Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Gong, Consensus.
  • Proficiency in another language is advantageous.
