
Vascular Access Sales Specialist

Job Summary:
">- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in South Australia.
A key member of the BD MDS team, you will be responsible for developing and managing opportunities in your territory to meet or exceed sales targets. With a strong focus on building and maintaining key customer relationships, this role understands and provides solutions for relevant unmet vascular access customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a territory plan with clear goals and specific actions to drive sales growth.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key customers, including end-users and C-suite executives.
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical areas of vascular access by building and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of customer practices.
- Conduct product demonstrations and validations with prospective customers to showcase the benefits of BD vascular access solutions.
- Provide market insights, including clinical practices, competitive activity, and industry trends, to inform business decisions.
- Ensure profitable opportunities are leveraged through disciplined sales processes, utilizing tools such as Solution Selling and Salesforce.com (SFDC) CRM.
- Represent the company at relevant industry trade shows and conferences.
Requirements:
- Strong desire to enable healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care using BD solutions.
- PIC Insertion experience is highly desirable.
- Significant clinical sales experience in the Healthcare hospital market is essential.
- Effective listening and relationship-building skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior organisational skills, ability to work autonomously, and competence with MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to match and deliver customer support with value.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and short timelines, while maintaining customer expectations.
- Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to interpret and analyse data to grow sales in alignment with marketing strategy.
- Problem-solving ability and demonstrated examples of providing innovative solutions.
- Education in healthcare or sciences is desirable.
