About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technology Transformation Specialist to join our team at Bank of Queensland. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in driving our cloud transformation initiatives across business banking, core banking, payments, and digital platforms.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a real difference in a bank that is putting its technology first. You will be joining one of the essential technology teams at BOQ, known as Group Integration Platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing input to operational considerations related to in-house applications with a focus on digital channel and API development.
  • Development of high-level integration designs.
  • Analyzing and translating business requirements into conceptual solutions.
  • Day-to-day support of in-house applications and integrated systems, including second-level support, defect management, and after-hours support as needed.
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for BOQ on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Ensuring all support issues are resolved within appropriate time frames based on urgency and priority.
  • Adhering to BOQ change control processes, including testing and implementing changes properly.
About You

We are looking for a Senior Software Development professional with experience in backend applications using C#, .Net, and .Net Core. Your skills and qualifications should include:

  • Deep understanding and working experience in integration applications and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Extensive experience in deploying and hosting solutions to the Azure platform.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of the .NET framework, including ASP.NET Core framework.
  • Proficiency in Restful Web Service Design and Service-Oriented Application Design.
  • Experience reading and understanding technical documentation, such as API documents and process flow diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Azure API Management Platform or equivalent systems like CA, Apigee, or Mulesoft (desired).
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
