About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Transformation Architect to join our Group Integration Platform team at Bank of Queensland.

As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in driving our business-wide cloud technology transformation. This includes technology uplifts across business banking, core banking, payments, and digital platforms involving major Azure cloud projects.

You will be responsible for providing input to operational considerations related to in-house applications, focusing on digital channel and API development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing input to operational considerations related to in-house applications with a focus on digital channel and API development.
  • Developing high-level integration designs.
  • Analyzing and translating business requirements into conceptual solutions.
  • Day-to-day support of in-house applications and integrated systems, including second-level support items, defect management, and after-hours support as needed.
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for BOQ on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Ensuring all support issues are turned around within appropriate time frames in line with the urgency/priority of issues.
  • Adhering to BOQ change control processes, ensuring that all changes are appropriately tested and implemented properly.

About You

We are looking for a Senior Software Development professional with experience in backend applications using C#, .Net, .Net Core.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding and working experience in integration applications and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Extensive experience in deploying and hosting solutions to the Azure platform.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • .NET framework understanding, including ASP.NET Core framework.
  • Proficient in Restful Web Service Design, Service-Oriented Application Design.
  • Experience reading and understanding technical documentation such as API documents, process flow diagrams, etc.
  • Knowledge and skills in Azure API Management Platform or equivalent systems like CA, Apigee, or Mulesoft (desirable).

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
