Role Purpose: The Compliance Governance Manager in Growth Operations plays a pivotal role in supporting our continuous expansion. As a key member of the Compliance Advisory team, you will focus on implementing best practice 2nd Line compliance throughout our Growth Operations division. This position is essential for ensuring that our external collaborations are well-informed and adhere to compliance standards through proactive communication and a robust engagement framework, particularly in the realms of marketing and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and high-quality compliance guidance to internal stakeholders, particularly in marketing and strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to the effective execution and success of the approved Compliance Plan.
- Act as a compliance subject matter expert by reviewing and approving various materials, including advertising, procedures, training content, and website information.
- Conduct 2nd line assurance and monitoring across Partnerships & Alliances.
- Identify and recommend enhancements for systems, processes, and products while providing compliance insights.
- Design and implement compliance education and awareness initiatives to foster a positive compliance culture.
- Oversee the collection and escalation of compliance insights to Committees, Boards, and other relevant risk and compliance forums.
- Exemplify A&G's values in all interactions with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or audit roles within the financial services sector.
- Experience in reviewing product disclosure documents and marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of compliance risk management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are preferred.
- Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit qualifications and memberships to relevant professional organizations are highly regarded.
