Risk Management and Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management and Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Auto & General. As a key member of our Growth Ops leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting our risk management strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Risk Management Strategies: Collaborate with the Growth Ops leadership team to design and implement effective risk management strategies that mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Improve Business Processes: Continuously assess and improve business processes to ensure they are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain Governance Framework: Oversee the maintenance of a robust governance framework that ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Provide Governance Advice: Provide expert advice on governance and risk management to various divisional projects and stakeholders.
- Develop Strong Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to management reporting to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Support Risk and Compliance Programs: Assist with risk, compliance, and audit programs to support superior business outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- 2+ Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Process Improvement Skills: Experience in process mapping, process improvements, and monitoring/assurance activities.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with process mapping tools, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of Compliance Standards: Knowledge of compliance standards, legislative requirements, and industry codes.
