Compliance Governance Lead

Role Purpose: The Compliance Governance Manager in Growth Operations plays a pivotal role in supporting our company's expansion. This position is essential within the Compliance Advisory team, dedicated to implementing exemplary 2nd Line compliance across our Growth Operations sector. You will ensure that our external collaborations are well-informed and adhere to compliance standards through proactive communication and a robust engagement framework, particularly concerning marketing and strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality and timely compliance guidance to internal stakeholders, particularly in marketing and strategic alliances.
- Contribute to the effective execution and success of the approved Compliance Plan.
- Evaluate and authorize materials as a compliance expert (advertising, procedures, training resources, website content, etc.).
- Conduct 2nd line assurance and monitoring across Partnerships & Alliances.
- Identify potential enhancements for systems, processes, and products while providing compliance guidance.
- Design and oversee compliance education and awareness initiatives to foster a positive compliance culture.
- Manage the collection and escalation of compliance insights to Committees, Boards, and other pertinent risk and compliance forums.
- Exemplify A&G's values in all interactions with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance, risk, legal, or audit roles within the financial services sector.
- Experience in reviewing product disclosure documents and marketing materials in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Strong understanding of compliance risk management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Preferred).
- Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit qualifications and memberships to relevant professional organizations are highly regarded.
