Compliance Governance Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Governance Manager to join our Growth Operations team. As a key member of our Compliance Advisory team, you will be responsible for delivering best practice 2nd Line compliance across our Growth Operations division.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Advice: Provide high-quality and timely compliance advice to internal stakeholders, particularly in marketing and strategic partnerships.
- Compliance Plan Delivery: Contribute to the successful delivery and achievement of the approved Compliance Plan.
- Collateral Review: Review and approve collateral as a compliance subject matter expert (advertising, procedures, training materials, website content, etc.).
- 2nd Line Assurance: Undertake 2nd line assurance and monitoring across Partnerships & Alliances.
- Compliance Insights: Identify opportunities for system, process, and product improvements while providing compliance advice.
- Compliance Education: Design and manage compliance education and awareness programs to promote a positive culture of compliance.
- Compliance Reporting: Manage the collation and escalation of compliance insights to Committees, Boards, and other relevant risk and compliance forums.
- Role Modeling: Role model A&G's values in all interactions with stakeholders.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in compliance, risk, legal, or audit roles within financial services.
- Product Disclosure: Experience with reviewing product disclosure documents and marketing materials in line with regulatory requirements.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong knowledge of compliance risk management frameworks, tools, and techniques.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Preferred).
- Professional Memberships: Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit qualifications and memberships to relevant professional bodies highly regarded.
