Role Overview: The Compliance Governance Manager in Growth Operations plays a pivotal role in facilitating our company's expansion. As a key member of the Compliance Advisory team, you will focus on implementing best practice second-line compliance across our Growth Operations sector. This position is essential in ensuring that our external collaborations are informed and compliant through proactive engagement and communication, particularly in marketing and strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and high-quality compliance guidance to internal stakeholders, particularly in marketing and strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to the effective execution and success of the approved Compliance Plan.
- Act as a compliance subject matter expert by reviewing and approving various materials (advertising, procedures, training content, website information, etc.).
- Conduct second-line assurance and monitoring within Partnerships & Alliances.
- Identify and recommend enhancements for systems, processes, and products while providing compliance insights.
- Design and implement compliance education and awareness initiatives to foster a positive compliance culture.
- Oversee the collection and escalation of compliance insights to Committees, Boards, and other relevant risk and compliance forums.
- Exemplify A&G's values in all stakeholder interactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or audit roles within the financial services sector.
- Experience in reviewing product disclosure documents and marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of compliance risk management frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field are preferred.
- Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit qualifications and memberships in relevant professional organizations are highly regarded.
