Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Preparation Specialist to join our dynamic team at 21c Museum Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the operation of our kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Food Preparation and Presentation: Assist in the preparation of menu items, ensuring high-quality presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
  2. Inventory Management: Assist with ordering and inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless food production and presentation.
  4. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  5. Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or environment, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
  2. Skills: Excellent food preparation and presentation skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  3. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or certification preferred.
  4. Availability: Availability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
