Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Recooty. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive the highest quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team: Supervise, train, and develop the kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional food and service.
- Menu planning and development: Work with the culinary team to plan and develop menus that are innovative, delicious, and meet the needs of our guests.
- Food safety and quality control: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Inventory management: Manage the inventory of food and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Cost control: Work with the finance team to manage the kitchen budget and ensure that we are operating within our financial targets.
- Team management: Lead and motivate the kitchen team to ensure that they are working together effectively to deliver exceptional service.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with the culinary team, front-of-house staff, and management to ensure that we are delivering a seamless guest experience.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Culinary Manager in a high-volume hospitality environment.
- Education: Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service.
- Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and any other relevant certifications.
