Position Summary:
This role is responsible for identifying and spearheading new program development initiatives while providing strategic recommendations to foster business growth. The incumbent will cultivate client relationships by delivering creative and valuable solutions to challenges or by cross-promoting services to both new and existing clients. This position will manage and analyze key performance metrics to enhance program and sales strategies for Emerging Markets. A hybrid work arrangement is available (up to 50% remote) and is applicable to any Farm Credit Services office location.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborates with relevant teams to design, implement, and maintain new credit, financial service, and value-added program delivery systems, ensuring seamless experiences for clients, team members, and external partners.
  2. Executes strategic initiatives aimed at generating business insights and strategies, translating findings into actionable recommendations and enhancements.
  3. Identifies, leads, and supports new program opportunities through research, analysis, and strategic recommendations.
  4. Works closely with Emerging Markets leadership to identify, develop, implement, and execute sales program strategies, tactics, and new product and service concepts across a wide range of agricultural and rural markets to drive business growth.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, agribusiness, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the role.
  2. A minimum of 12 years of experience in launching new products within a financial institution is preferred.
  3. At least 7 years of experience in sales and marketing.
  4. Knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry.
  5. Advanced understanding of governmental programs related to energy, climate change, and renewable resources.
  6. In-depth knowledge of financial markets, complex lending transactions, and strategic selling techniques.
  7. Strong marketing capabilities and proficiency in leading sales closures.
  8. Skills in business development, negotiation, credit analysis, presentation, and sales.
  9. Ability to maintain objectivity while balancing business needs and risk.
  10. Proficient in advanced reporting software and database management.
  11. Experience in process improvement and project management.
  12. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  13. Ability to foster and maintain interpersonal relationships.
  14. High integrity and accountability.
  15. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  16. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles at both organizational and client levels.
  17. Solid understanding of economic and risk management principles.
  18. Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
  19. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  20. Valid driver's license.
  21. Authorization to work for any employer in the US is required.
