Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to enhance our operational efficiency within a reputable organization in the precast concrete sector. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience, and is based in a collaborative environment.
Work Schedule
The standard working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential flexibility for earlier start times.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage customer inquiries and orders through various communication channels, ensuring timely and professional responses.
- Assess customer requirements, negotiate expectations, and provide updates on production timelines and inventory status.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and inquiries using established systems.
- Facilitate the smooth transition of product and delivery details to the Transport Coordinator.
- Work closely with Sales Representatives to gain insights into key projects and delivery commitments.
- Monitor project timelines, schedule follow-ups, and adjust delivery plans as necessary.
- Prepare quotes and track outcomes to enhance win/loss ratios.
- Address customer complaints by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Oversee the procurement and management of stock levels for resale items.
- Contribute to the enhancement of business processes through innovative suggestions.
- Assist with administrative duties to support branch operations as needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, including effective listening, questioning, and writing capabilities. A collaborative mindset is essential, along with the ability to navigate complex inquiries and provide solutions utilizing diverse information sources.
Key attributes include a proactive approach to process improvement, exceptional planning and organizational skills, and the ability to manage performance, time, and stress effectively. Adaptability to new technologies and systems, including enterprise software and Microsoft Office Suite, is crucial.
Qualifications
- Licenses: A current and unrestricted driver's license; a valid forklift license is advantageous.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in the building or construction industry or related fields, with a preference for candidates with sales or customer relationship management experience.
