Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Coordinator to enhance our operational efficiency within a thriving small team environment. This role is integral to our client’s success in the precast concrete sector, focusing on delivering exceptional service and support.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time role with standard hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for earlier start times.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and orders with professionalism and efficiency through various communication channels.
- Assess customer requirements, manage expectations, and provide updates on production timelines and inventory status.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and transactions within our systems.
- Coordinate with the Transport Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Work closely with Sales Representatives to gain insights into key projects and delivery commitments.
- Monitor project timelines, schedule follow-ups, and adjust delivery plans as necessary.
- Prepare quotes and manage the follow-up process to determine outcomes.
- Address customer complaints by identifying issues, exploring solutions, and ensuring follow-up for satisfaction.
- Oversee purchasing and inventory management of resale items.
- Contribute to the enhancement of business processes through innovative ideas.
- Assist with administrative duties to support branch operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, including effective listening, questioning, and writing capabilities. They should excel in teamwork, manage complex inquiries, and utilize various information sources to resolve issues.
Key attributes include a proactive approach to process improvement, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage performance, time, and stress effectively. Adaptability to new technologies and systems, including enterprise software and Microsoft Office Suite, is essential.
Qualifications
- Licenses: A current and unrestricted driver's license; a forklift license is a plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in the building or construction industry or related fields; experience in sales or customer relationship management is advantageous but not mandatory.
