Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Coordinator, your primary duties will include:
- Efficiently managing customer inquiries and orders through various communication channels, ensuring a professional and timely response.
- Assessing customer requirements, effectively negotiating expectations, and providing updates on production timelines and inventory status.
- Maintaining comprehensive records of customer interactions and transactions using established systems.
- Coordinating with the Transport Coordinator to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Working closely with Sales Representatives to gain insights into key projects and delivery commitments.
- Monitoring project timelines, scheduling follow-ups, and updating delivery schedules as necessary.
- Generating quotes and tracking outcomes to optimize sales performance.
- Addressing customer complaints by identifying issues, determining root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Managing stock levels for resale products to ensure availability.
- Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and contributing to overall business efficiency.
- Assisting with administrative tasks to support branch operations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, including effective listening, questioning, and writing abilities. You should be adept at collaborating within a team, managing complex inquiries, and utilizing various information sources to resolve issues.
Key attributes include a proactive approach to process improvement, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage performance, time, and stress effectively. Adaptability to new technologies and systems, including Microsoft Excel and Office, is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- A current and unrestricted driver's license; a valid forklift license is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the building or construction industry, or related fields, with a preference for those with sales or customer relationship management experience.
