Events Operations Supervisor

About the Role

The Events Operations Supervisor is primarily accountable for representing the organization’s events and managing event-day activities for both commercial and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the Events & Venues Manager and team members to facilitate a seamless event experience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional client management skills, ensuring all stakeholder needs are met.
  • Manage multiple priorities and conflicting timelines while maintaining attention to detail.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic event management professional with a strong background in hospitality and client relations. Your experience should include:

  • Proven expertise in hospitality event management, with a focus on client satisfaction and organizational excellence.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to lead a team of casual staff and external vendors.
  • Familiarity with catering and technical requirements for events, including basic troubleshooting of AV systems.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols relevant to event management.
  • Flexibility to work during evenings, early mornings, and weekends as required.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A valid RSA certification or competency card.
