Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Function and Event Supervisor to join our team at the Strathfield Golf Club. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service to guests, managing functions and events, and supervising the bistro.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate functions and events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Supervise the bistro team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service and food presentation
  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to achieve excellent customer service and sales targets
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new menus, promotions, and events to drive business growth and customer engagement

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a hospitality or event management role
  • Strong background in customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Australian work rights and a current RSA
