Events Operations Manager

The Role
As a key member of the Trippas White Group team, the Events Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of events at the Sydney Opera House. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event preparation and execution, ensuring that they are conducted in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner, in line with the event guidelines provided by the events team and the operational standards outlined by the Venue.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Event Service Manager to ensure timely communication and allocation of event requirements, including furniture, equipment, and beverages.
- Conduct pre-event briefings with the Kitchen and FOH service teams to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of events, meeting client expectations for setup, running order, and timeframes, as well as dietary requirements.
- Supervise events, including timelines, event logistics, planning, and instruction, pack down, and venue resets.
- Oversee the coordination of casual team members for event days, including developing team briefings.
- Prepare and submit financial and post-event operational reports.
- Coordinate and/or lead pre-event briefings with key internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Trippas White Group's WHS policies and procedures.
- Motivate, train, and performance manage staff.
