We're looking for a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team in APAC.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative, you'll identify interest in DroneDeploy from key accounts and conduct cold outreach to schedule qualified discovery meetings for our Account Executives. You'll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to generate new demand and expand existing customer accounts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly goals by generating qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification.
  • Working in partnership with Account Executives to build account strategies, territory plans, and outreach campaigns.
  • Researching intent signals to find companies considering our products and services or similar solutions on the market.
  • Providing exceptional customer experience to all prospects from net new and existing customer accounts as they move through the qualification process.
  • Qualifying leads based on frameworks such as SPICED, MEDDIC, BANT, or other sales methodologies.
  • Scheduling and coordinating discovery meetings between the Account Executive team and decision-makers at new companies or existing customer accounts.
  • Maintaining strong overall outreach activity levels to facilitate success.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous cold outbound sales or sales development experience (1+ years).
  • Demonstrated success in achieving quota as a BDR or similar role in a SaaS or sales environment.
  • A consistent track record of performance in creative, strategic outreach via personalized emails, phone calls, texts, and videos.
  • Experience in using sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, 6sense, Zoominfo, LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, and Zoom.
  • Self-aware, coachable, and able to implement feedback in the moment and to overcome challenges.
