Your Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing Transfer Pricing policies and operational frameworks for Australian multinational enterprises and startups.
  • Providing commercial insights regarding new or existing transactions, collaborating with medium to large established firms.
  • Engaging in outbound planning and global value chain transformations.
  • Leading projects and working in close partnership with clients and other service lines both locally and globally.
  • Assisting clients with risk assessments and transfer pricing disputes with the ATO.
  • Preparing Transfer Pricing documentation for various intercompany transactions, including financial dealings.
  • Conducting benchmarking analyses and developing financial models.
  • Reviewing legal agreements from a Transfer Pricing standpoint.
  • Leveraging BDO's extensive international network to serve global clients.
  • Managing all administrative tasks related to the firm, including billing and risk management.
  • Creating newsletters and articles on Transfer Pricing topics.

About You

  • A desire to tackle diverse client projects across various industries.
  • Experience in transfer pricing within a large chartered environment (preferably Big 4 or Mid-Tier firms).
  • A comprehensive understanding of the global OECD Transfer Pricing framework, Australian legislation, and ongoing BEPS developments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA credentials.
  • Exceptional statistical, analytical, and research skills.
  • A creative thinker with a curious mindset.
  • Experience in developing and implementing planning structures, resolving disputes, and managing compliance requirements.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships independently.
  • A strong team player with the capability to work autonomously when necessary.
  • Proficiency in prioritizing multiple client commitments while delivering outstanding service.
  • Strong business writing and numerical abilities.
