Senior Sales and Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team at Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of achievement in sales, preferably in the hospitality and/or tourism industry. You will possess strong sales flair, excellent time-management, reporting, computer and administrative skills.
- Business development and account management within the MICE sector.
- Proactive approach to identifying new MICE business opportunities.
- Selling Conference & Events products and services, leveraging existing third-party partnerships and PCO relationships to generate premium leads and secure high-value clients.
- Developing working plans to meet targets.
- Negotiation of rates and terms and conditions.
- Collaborating with the department to ensure effective systems are in place to successfully manage the sale and implementation of any new business.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of achievement in sales.
- Strong sales flair and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time-management, reporting, computer and administrative skills.

- An estimated salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
