The Role
As an Indie Campers Commercial Planning & Trading Specialist, you'll develop and execute commercial strategies to drive APAC's regional performance in terms of gross margin, nights traveled, and revenue. You'll analyze market trends, manage trading activities, and implement plans to optimize commercial outcomes, directly impacting regional growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Planning: Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive regional performance, focusing on gross margin, nights traveled, and revenue.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
- Trading Activities: Manage trading activities, including pricing, promotions, and inventory management, to optimize commercial outcomes.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to regional gross margin, nights traveled, and revenue.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the HQ team to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial plans.
- Strategic Initiatives: Lead and participate in strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing regional performance and achieving commercial targets.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and innovation in commercial planning and trading activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial planning, trading, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in commercial planning and trading software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
